Cinderwell Studio LLC ("Cinderwell," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our products, and how it's used.

Information we collect

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free analytics tool that measures aggregate page-performance metrics (such as page load times and Core Web Vitals). It does not use tracking cookies, does not build a profile of individual visitors, and does not track you across other websites. You can read more about how it works in Cloudflare's documentation.

Beyond that, we do not otherwise collect personal information automatically. If you contact us by email, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message (typically your name and email address) so we can respond.

Purchases of the separate MakerTally Excel workbook are made through Etsy, which processes payment and order information under its own privacy policy. Cinderwell Studio LLC does not receive payment-card details.

How we use information

Any information you send us is used only to respond to your question or request. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

MakerTally mobile app

MakerTally is designed to work offline. The app stores product calculations, drafts, fee profiles, settings, and a minimal MakerTally Pro access record locally on the user's device. Cinderwell Studio LLC does not receive or transmit those calculations and does not provide accounts, cloud synchronization, advertising, or in-app analytics.

MakerTally Pro is an optional one-time purchase. Apple App Store or Google Play processes the transaction under its own privacy policy. The app uses only store-provided information needed to recognize or restore the purchase; it does not store payment-card details, purchase receipts, or purchase tokens.

The Cloudflare Web Analytics described above applies to cinderwellstudio.com, not to the MakerTally mobile app.

Future products

Cinderwell is developing additional products, including a health-tracking app. Before any product that collects personal or health information is released, this policy will be updated to specifically describe what that product collects, how it's stored, and how you can control or delete it.

Children's privacy

Cinderwell's website and products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
